Priority Services 4U

Providing domiciliary care and a whole lot more!

Despite age or disability, we believe that everyone should have the option of living in their own home and maintaining a happy and fulfilling life. Our passion is to provide the right care support to make it happen safely.

Looking for at-home care in Berkshire?

We understand how worrying and time consuming it can be when you or a family member needs extra support.

Moving into a care home often means a loss of independence and for various reasons many families fear going down that route. With the right care support that will encourage health and wellbeing, we can enable your family member to continue living safely in their own home.

Happiness and fulfilment are the driving forces behind Priority Services4U, and the care services we offer are designed around this. Our clients’ wellbeing is very much our number one priority.

Choosing the right Home Care support

Making decisions about your care, or care for your loved one, can be emotionally exhausting so we will always try to make the process as simple as we can. Where possible, it’s important to keep the person receiving the care involved in the process, as no one wants to feel forced into something, even if it is in their best interests.

We treat our clients with the utmost respect and dignity from the start. Our FREE assessments with you to determine the care needs very much involve the recipient too. We want you or your family member to feel in control as much as possible and everyone to be happy with care plans suggested. We appreciate that needs change so our plans can be changed at any time.

Letting someone into your family home can be scary, which is why we try to match you with carers that are most suited to your needs. Rest assured that all of our carers are hand picked and thoroughly checked including DBS. And, even if they’ve been in the industry for years they still undergo our own mandatory training program that includes first aid and medication administration to dementia awareness, and moving and handling — to ensure they meet our high standards.

The process is simple

Often care requirements are needed quickly after an event or sudden realisation that support is needed. We are used to acting fast to put things in place and our process is simple.

1. Outline Your Needs

Our specialist Home Care Team receives your enquiry. We will discuss your requirements and provide information on the services that we can offer you, as well as an outline of costs.

2. Assessor Visits Home

We will arrange for a Priority Services4U Assessor to visit your home and undertake a care and risk assessment. Following this visit, a fully costed care package will be offered.

3. Finalise Care Package

We will finalise your care plan with you and your family, and then identify the most suited care staff for you. We will also arrange for you to meet them to ensure that all of your needs are met. If any additional training is required, this will also be coordinated.

4. Start your Care

Our support and care will help you to continue enjoying a safe and comfortable life at your home

What people say about our carers

"Like most businesses I know you have had your challenges this year but I always know Mum is in safe hands and Nina has certainly tested us all in the last year with hospital call outs! Mum loves her Ladies [never carers] and of course Callum. Frankly I simply don't know what I would do without you. Massive thank you for your care, kindness and support."

"It’s so hard to mention any one specific carer, as you are all so wonderful to my mum and everyone has been so consistently caring, thoughtful, gentle, kind, understanding and reliable. I can’t thank you all enough. It’s been such a hard adjustment for my mum and our whole family- for her to go from semi-independence to needing round the clock care- but you have made this tough transition all the more bearable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep doing the amazing work that you do."
"Susie makes such a difference to John’s life, she cheers him up in the mornings, he looks forward to seeing her. Only yesterday, she noticed his nose was red and immediately dealt with the start of his nosebleed. John is on blood thinners and in the past has suffered from horrendous nosebleeds which have resulted in ambulance requests with a follow up of a hospital admittance. For me Susie is such a back up and helps me so much in reducing my worries. We would also like to thank Janet and Donna for their reliable care. And to you Lauren for dealing with our requests, your role is not an easy one ."
