Help with Shopping

Carer with basket of groceries in supermarket

We understand that shopping for elderly or disabled people can be a daunting task. Whether you like shopping or not, as you get older it can be more difficult.

You may not want to burden your family with shopping. Or you may want to make your own choices about what you buy. Yet it can be difficult for you to get around and carry heavy bags.

Priority Services4U can provide help with shopping. We provide assistance and support in a number of ways. This can involve helping to organise appropriate transport or accompanying you to the store, market or shopping centre. We can help you prepare a shopping list, navigate the store safely with a walking frame or a wheelchair as appropriate, and help you buy for your dietary needs. This could include helping them to read labels, compare prices, and making sure you are getting the items you want. The carer can also help you with the checkout process, ensuring that you are getting the items you need and are paying the correct amount.

If you or a family member would benefit from help with shopping please ask for more details.
