Employment within the company must be freely chosen, and no individual should ever be coerced, threatened, or deceived into work. Staff are prohibited from holding another person’s identification documents, bank cards, or personal belongings and must ensure that all workers have the legal right to work in the UK. The Code reinforces fair employment practices, equal opportunities, and respect for diversity, helping to protect vulnerable individuals from discrimination or abuse.
Domiciliary care staff, who often work in clients’ homes, are reminded to maintain professionalism, honesty, and transparency in their conduct, including completing timesheets accurately and never accepting gifts or personal favours that could compromise ethical standards. The Code also extends to all suppliers, contractors, and recruitment partners, requiring them to uphold the same anti-slavery principles and allowing the company to terminate relationships with any party found to be in breach.
Regular modern slavery awareness training ensures staff understand how to recognise and respond to signs of exploitation, while management conducts ongoing monitoring and reinforcement of ethical standards. We consider that we operate in a high-risk environment because Priorityservices4u LTD. operates in a high-risk setting for modern slavery, such as the domiciliary care sector by implementing strong preventative, monitoring, and response measures that protect both staff and clients from exploitation.
The company recognises that care work can involve vulnerable individuals, migrant workers, and subcontracted labour, all of which may heighten modern slavery risks. To address this, Priorityservices4u LTD. enforces strict safe recruitment procedures, including verified right-to-work checks, identity confirmation, and compliance audits for all employees and recruitment partners to ensure that all labour is freely chosen and lawfully employed.
The company only works with approved and audited agencies that demonstrate adherence to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and ethical employment standards. Continuous training and awareness programmes equip staff and managers to identify signs of coercion, trafficking, or exploitation among colleagues or clients, while a robust whistleblowing and safeguarding framework ensures that any suspicions are reported confidentially and investigated promptly.
Regular monitoring of payroll, accommodation arrangements, and working conditions helps detect irregularities, such as shared bank accounts or illegal deductions, which may indicate control or exploitation. Priorityservices4u LTD. also collaborates with local authorities, safeguarding boards, and the police when concerns arise to ensure that victims are supported and perpetrators are held accountable. By embedding transparency, ethical practices, and accountability into every level of operation, the company ensures that its services remain safe, lawful, and protective in a high-risk environment for modern slavery..
We do not tolerate slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains. Where there is evidence of failure to comply with our policies and procedures by any of our suppliers, we will require that supplier to remedy the non-compliance.
